Pan-Fried Pompano with Tomato Anise Glaze

Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika powder
1 tsp chili powder
AJI GINISA SHRIMP
4-5 star anise
1 stick unsalted butter
2 pompano, cleaned

Cilantro for garnish


Procedure:

  1. Season the pompano with AJI GINISA SHRIMP, pan fry fish until cooked, set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a medium skillet. Add tomato sauce, paprika, chili powder, star anise, honey and season with AJI GINISA SHRIMP. Let it simmer.
  3. When the fish is done, brush the sauce over the fish. Garnish with cilantro.
